Dulcimer Workshop for Beginners will be hosted by Deb Strite. Classes will be every Monday at 2pm, June 8th -August 3rd. Spaces are limited to 10 people, ages 6 years old - adult, dulcimers will be provided for the class. Please call the library at 717-328-9233 to reserve your spot- No Fee!
"You’ll be happy to know that the Appalachian dulcimer is relatively easy to play. It isn’t a masters-only instrument, despite its complicated-looking design. Indeed, it’s often regarded in the musical world as one of the easiest stringed instruments to learn. It’s even easier in some cases than the guitar." Dulcimer.net

"Mercersburg Walking Tours" PART 2, 6:30 - 8:00 PM presented by the Mercersburg Historical Society. The tours will begin in the Fendrick Library at 20 N. Main Street, Mondays in July 13, 20, 27 & Aug. 3, 2026.
Ron Martin-Minnich will guide the evening tours. The walk includes buildings on Main and Seminary Streets. If there is inclement weather, a series of PowerPoint slides and a large map will be utilized.

Mercersburg Historical Society will present Part 1at the First United Methodist Church of Mercersburg, hosted by Joan McCulloh. Thursdays in July 9, 16, 23 & 30, 2026.
